Dead of Night Vol. 1 (1994-1997) Double VHS Set
Dead of Night Vol. 1 (1994-1997) Double VHS Set
Available for the first time in ANY format, Dead of Night is a mid-90’s SOV action-horror mini-series hailing from Spokane, WA, that frequently feels like David Lynch directing The X-Files, if David Lynch was a mall security guard!
Created by two sci-fi/horror super fans (who at the time truly were coworkers doing overnight mall security), Wayne Spitzer and Andy Kumpon are Status and AK, enforcement officers for the mysterious Viktor Corporation. In their mission to monitor and protect their strange little town, they encounter interdimensional beings, lichters, basilisks, gelatinous spirit guides, flux cores, bad teenagers, badass women and mullet-bearing beefcakes. And they can shoot (and smoke) their way out of almost anything! Dead of Night was a late night cable staple that captivated a generation of unsuspecting Washingtonians, zoning out to infomercials, to look up at the night skies a bit longer, and look over their shoulder much more often.
With STUNNING art by the inimitable Eric Adrian Lee, this custom double wide custom VHS box set includes vinyl sticker labels, a bonus vinyl sticker with original Dead of Night poster art, the VVideozine #4, and two VHS volumes with a total runtime of 174 minutes, including legendary lost episode Siren’s Song. As a further bonus, the episodes are linked together with original shot-for-cable-access commercials made by Wayne and Andy, to recreate the experience of watching late night cable. Limited to just 100 copies (80 online, 20 in stores), you can pre-order Dead of Night NOW!
The truth is out there, but Dead of Night is right here.
